BLOOMFIELD (BANGOR SUBURB)
'Bloomfield Housing Estate' is opposite Bloomfield shopping centre on the outskirts of Bangor, County Down in Northern Ireland. It contains a primary school and is made up of Bloomfield Road South and Ballyree Drive.
The Bloomfield Area reaches from Bloomfield Road to Bloomfield Road South and also includes Upritchard Rugby Field (Home to Bangor RC and is ften host to many international games).
The Bloomfield Shopping Centre has now been running for over 15 years. As of January 2007 it has been undergoing a major expansion, including a multi-storey car park and new larger stores, which is due to be completed in late summer 2007.
It includes two major stores, Tesco and Marks and Spencers. There is also GAME, Argos, Easons and Phones4U. The expandtion stores are to hold BHS and Smyths Toy Store.
