Trivia

★ For the filming of Pete's team versus Bobby Knight's, the filmmakers had the teams play two games, from which they took bits and pieces to assemble what is seen in the film. Unlike the screen version, Knight's team prevailed in both games.

★ One goof in the movie is when Neon was in the classroom playing with the children he was shown picking up a child with a Barry Bonds Jersey on (#25). When Jenny Bell turned to him and said "Neon, please try not to step on the children", he was then holding a different child.

★ Not only did Bob Knight star in the film as himself, but Nick Nolte shadowed the coach during their 1992 season to research the role.
