BOARDMAN HIGH SCHOOL (MAHONING COUNTY, OHIO)

'Boardman High School' is a public high school in Boardman, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Boardman Local School District. The first high school, located on Market Street, is now Boardman Center Middle School. In 1969, the new high school was built on Glenwood Ave. Since then, a new performing arts center was added on by donation, including a substantial sum by former student and football star, Bernie Kosar.

The music department in the Boardman Local Schools was recently selected as a ''Grammy Signature School''[1] The department is made up of award-winning band, orchestra and choral departments.

Bernie Kosar, retired NFL Quarterback. Won a national championship at the University of Miami before beginning a distinguished NFL career, most notably with the Cleveland Browns. (class of 1981)

★ Jason Marucci, chiropractor. Better known for playing football at the University of Miami and being named as a figure in the team's Pell Grant scandal, which resulted in major sanctions against the program. (class of 1989)

Steve Vallos, NFL lineman. Played for Wake Forest before being drafted in the 7th round of the 2007 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks. (class of 2002)

★ Brad Rauchfuss, center for the 1989 State Football Runners-Up went undrafted
