BORGOMANERO

'Borgomanero' is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Novara in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 90 km northeast of Turin and about 30 km northwest of Novara. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 20,253 and an area of 32.4 km².^[1]
The municipality of Borgomanero contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) San Marco, Santa Cristina, Santa Croce, Santo Stefano, and Vergano.
Borgomanero borders the following municipalities: Bogogno, Briga Novarese, Cressa, Cureggio, Fontaneto d'Agogna, Gargallo, Gattico, Gozzano, Invorio, Maggiora, Veruno.
