'Bradford-on-Avon railway station' is a railway station on the Wessex Main Line between Avoncliff and Trowbridge. The station name is hyphenated, unlike the name of the town. Regular services are provided by First Great Western to Bath, Bristol and Cardiff in the north and Weymouth, Southampton and Portsmouth in the south. Currently the station is served by one service in each direction an hour off-peak and two services an hour peak. It is also currently served by three South West Trains services a day from Bristol Temple Meads to London Waterloo in each direction, one of which originates and terminates at Salisbury.
