BRANCHVILLE, TEXAS
'Branchville, Texas' is an unincorporated area of Milam County, Texas, in the United States.
Among its natives was Kansas City barbecue icon Arthur Bryant (restaurateur) who operated Arthur Bryant's and who is buried there.
It is 13 miles eas of Cameron, Texas and is believed to have received its name as being a branch store of the Port Sullivan, Texas store of W. B. Easterwood. The post office opened in 1878 and closed in 1908. About 200 people live in the area.
