Story

''Brigham City'' is about a small town in rural Utah. The sherriff is a widower and a bishop; one of seventeen bishops in the town. This town is unique in that it has never had a murder reported. It is an idyllic little town, a paradise.
When a woman from out of town is found murdered a few miles outside of town, the sheriff calls in the FBI from their closest office, Provo, Utah. He does this both because he has no experience in murder investigations and because he wants to keep the murder's influence out of his town.
But it is already too late.
A few more murders soon occur. Suspicion is rampant. Irreparable things happen before the killer is finally exposed.
