BRISTOL EAST (UK PARLIAMENT CONSTITUENCY)


'Bristol East' is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election.

The constituency covers the east of Bristol.
Boundary review

Following their review of parliamentary representation in Bristol, Somerset and South Gloucestershire, the Boundary Commission for England has created a Bristol East constituency with minor changes from the current seat.
The electoral wards in the seat to be fought at the election in 2009 or 2010 are;

Brislington East, Brislington West, Eastville, Frome Vale, Hillfields, St George East, St George West, Stockwood.
