'Dr. Bruce S. Allen' (
15 March 1950) is an
American foreign consul appointed by the ruling monarch and the prime minister of the
Principality of Liechtenstein.

He is accredited by the
State Department of the
United States of America. He is the first person in history to ever hold this position and todate, only one other person has subsequently been afforded the same status for Liechtenstein. His work is international in the fields of
diplomacy,
finance, and global
economic development.
Biography
Allen was born in
Macon, Georgia, the son of T.O. Allen of
Warner Robins, Georgia, where Allen lived until 1968. He is an honour graduate of
Warner Robins High School (1968) and from there attended the
University of Georgia where he earned a ''magna cum laude'', Phi-Beta-Kappa, Bachelor of Science degree in 1972. After university, Allen attended the
Medical College of Georgia where he earned an AOA Honors, Medical Doctorate (M.D.) in 1976. He was made a Fellow of the
American Academy of Dermatology in 1980.
Diplomatic Appointment
On 1 July 2007, the
Liechtenstein Ruling Prince, H.S.H
Hans-Adam II, and Liechtenstein
Prime Minister,
Otmar Hasler, appointed Dr. Allen as the first Honorary
Consul in history for the European nation, the
Principality of Liechtenstein. His consular region is the Southern and Southeastern United States of America, he is Head of Post, and his consulate is located in
Bibb County,
Georgia (US state).
