CABINET COUNTIES
The 'Cabinet counties' of the U.S. state of Michigan are those named after President Andrew Jackson and members of his Cabinet. Not incidentally, it was Jackson who, as one of his last acts in office, signed the 1837 bill making Michigan the 26th state.
