CAESARS (BAND)
'Caesars' is a Swedish alternative rock band. In their native Sweden, the band was originally known as 'Caesars Palace', and in the rest of Scandinavia they are known as 'Twelve Caesars'. Elsewhere they go by the name Caesars. Outside of Sweden, they may be best known for the song "Jerk It Out", which appears in an iPod advertisement, as well as the Electronic Arts video games SSX 3 and FIFA Football 2004, also known as FIFA Soccer 2004 and on the PlayStation 2 game LMA Manager 2005, and arcade game Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA. The song is featured on their ''39 Minutes of Bliss (In An Otherwise Meaningless World)'', ''Paper Tigers'', and ''Love For The Streets'' albums. They have won Swedish Grammy Awards for best album and best new artist.
On the band's Swedish record label's website (Dolores Recordings) there is an announcement that the band is coming out with a new record in the Autumn of 2007 and that some of the band members are working on a side-project called Big Bird with the bass-player from skate-punkers Fireside.

Style
The band employs several techniques in all of their songs: heavily distorted vocals, guitars, and, where applicable, a synth organ. This affords them a very "old-school" feel in stark contrast to their crisp basslines.
