CALEDONIAN RAILWAY 812 CLASS

The Caledonian Railway '812 Class' is a class of 0-6-0 steam tender locomotive designed by John F. McIntosh and introduced in 1899. It featured the boiler from the 721 "Dunalastair" Class 4-4-0s.
The '652 Class' was apparently almost identical to the 812. It is believed that the difference between the two classes was that the 652s were fitted with Westinghouse air brakes for passenger train working, but this is subject to confirmation.
