CAMBRIDGE, NEW HAMPSHIRE

'Cambridge, New Hampshire', is a township in Coös County in the state of New Hampshire. In New Hampshire, locations, grants, townships (which are different from towns), and purchases are unincorporated portions of a county which are not part of any town and have limited self-government (if any, as many are uninhabited). Most of the township is forested wilderness, but it contains the southernmost edge of Umbagog Lake, accessed via New Hampshire Route 26 from Errol or from Upton, Maine. It contains a section of the ''13-Mile Woods Scenic Area'' along the Androscoggin River. New Hampshire Route 16 also crosses the northwest corner of the township. The population was 10 at the 2000 census.

It was granted in 1773 to Nathaniel Rogers and others and contained about 23,160 acres (94 km²).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 133.2 km² (51.4 mi²). 131.6 km² (50.8 mi²) of it is land and 1.7 km² (0.6 mi²) of it (1.24%) is water. The highest point is ''Cambridge Black Mountain'' (2,780 feet / 847 meters above sea level).

As of the census2 of 2000, there were 10 people, 5 households, and 3 families residing in the township. The population density was 0.1/km² (0.2/mi²). There were 39 housing units at an average density of 0.3/km² (0.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the township was 100.00% White.
There were 5 households out of which 40.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 60.0% were married couples living together, and 40.0% were non-families. 40.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 20.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.00 and the average family size was 2.67.
In the township, the population was spread out with 20.0% under the age of 18, 30.0% from 25 to 44, 40.0% from 45 to 64, and 10.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 44 years. For every female there was one male. For every female aged 18 and over, there was one male.
