CAMILLA (SINGER)
'Camilla' (born 'Camilla Marie Beeput' in 1986) is a Singer and Actress from north-west London, England and is a member of The Diplomats, also known as Dipset. She became known for her time on Fame Academy, and released her debut single, "Don't Hold Back", featuring Erick Sermon of the group EPMD, in 2006. She appeared on the reality show ''Fame Academy 1'' at the age of 16 in 2002, in which she had a brief romantic liaison with fellow contestant Lemar before ultimately being eliminated. After ''Fame Academy'', she went on to act in an acclaimed production of the musical ''West Side Story'' at Leicester Haymarket Theatre, ''Money to burn'' at The Venue in Leicester Square, an episode of ''The Bill'', modelled for ''K-Swiss'' and played the recurring role of "Bethany Mortimer" on the hit TV show ''Footballers' Wives'' before signing with Dipset, who then started work on her solo album ''Rise of the Phoenix''. "Don't Hold Back" was released as the album's first single on August 28 2006, but was not a big success. Camilla then landed the role of Rose in the London West End production of Daddy Cool, a musical based on the music of Boney M, at Shaftesbury Theatre, while preparing for her second single, "Oh What You Did", which features Juelz Santana and is due to be released soon.
