CARPETANI
The 'Carpetani' were one of the Celtic pre-Roman peoples of the Iberian Peninsula (the Roman Hispania, modern Spain and Portugal), akin to the Celtiberians, dwelling in the central part of the ''meseta'' - the high central upland plain of the Iberian peninsula.
