About

The neighborhood features half acre and larger, tree-lined estates along winding roads. Residents enjoy the proximity to White Rock Lake, the Dallas Arboretum, the Bath House Cultural Center, and the historic Casa Linda Shopping Center.
Residential development in the Casa Linda area straddled World War II. The first homes in the area were built in the late 1930s, but building was interrupted during the war years. The area was effectively built out by the early 1950s, though a few vacant lots remained until the early 1960s. The architectural styles of the homes vary, and some excellent examples of Spanish Colonial Revival Style architecture can be found in the area. The area is heavily treed, and most homes display well-kept and in some cases elaborate landscaping.
