CASS, WEST VIRGINIA
'Cass' is an unincorporated community in Pocahontas County, West Virginia on the Greenbrier River.
The town was founded in 1901 as a company town for those who worked for West Virginia Pulp and Paper Company logging the nearby mountains. Currently most of the town is owned by the state of West Virginia and is part of the Cass Scenic Railroad State Park.
