'Castellania' is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 100 km southeast of Turin and about 30 km southeast of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 99 and an area of 7.7 km².^[1]
The municipality of Castellania contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Mossabella and Sant'Alosio.
Castellania borders the following municipalities: Avolasca, Carezzano, Costa Vescovato, Garbagna, Sant'Agata Fossili, and Sardigliano.
