CASTELNUOVO SCRIVIA

'Castelnuovo Scrivia' is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 90 km east of Turin and about 20 km northeast of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,617 and an area of 45.4 km².^[1]
The municipality of Castelnuovo Scrivia contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Gerbidi, Ova, Pilastro, and Secco.
Castelnuovo Scrivia borders the following municipalities: Alzano Scrivia, Casei Gerola, Guazzora, Isola Sant'Antonio, Molino dei Torti, Pontecurone, Sale, and Tortona.
