CATTENOM


'Cattenom' (German: ''Kattenhofen'') is a small French commune in the ''département'' of Moselle, Lorraine. It has just over 2,000 inhabitants and lies about 8 kilometers north of Thionville.
Cattenom is well known for its nuclear power plant, which was built from 1987 to 1992. It has the third largest electric output in France.
