The 'Cenomanian' (also known as 'Woodbinian') is the first stage of the Late CretaceousEpoch. It spans the time between 99.6 ± 0.9 Ma and 93.5 ± 0.8 Ma (million years ago). The late Cenomanian represents the highest sea-level observed in the past six hundred million years (approximately one hundred and fifty meters above present day sea-levels).
