CENTRAL CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL (BLOOMINGTON, ILLINOIS)

'Central Catholic High School' in Bloomington, Illinois serves about 400 students from around the Bloomington-Normal, Illinois area. The school was founded in the late 1800s as St. Mary's High School, which was later changed to Trinity High School and then to Central Catholic High School. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Peoria.
In 2007, the boys track team won their first ever sectional crown, besting the field at the Clinton Class A sectional by scoring 120 points. Saints winning individual titles at the event included Patrick Zuenik in the triple jump (40-9), Ryan Waldron in the 100-meter dash (11.06), Austin Quinn in the 1600-meter run (4:34.56), and University of Illinois recruit Josh Brent in the shot put (54-1).
