CENTRE WELLINGTON CITIZENS COALITION

The 'Centre Wellington Citizens Coalition' ('CWCC') is a grassroots group of citizenry seeking to protect their Elora and Fergus, Ontario area's environment and liveability from the Greater Toronto Area's encroaching urban sprawl. The group received national Canadian TV coverage in 2002 when it was sued by its own town government, for resisting the imposition of a large provincial gambling development.
