CHASE DANIELS


'Chase Daniels' was born June 29 in Lexington, Kentucky.
Daniels is a national radio personality for XM Satellite Radio on The Groove, Channel 64. Daniels began her career in Lexington Kentucky at the age of 15 at WCKU-FM. Daniels also did stints at WGKS-FM & WLXG-AM. She had her first full-time job at the age of 17 at WGKS-FM, doing the "Love Songs & Dedications" evening show.
While attending college at the University of Kentucky, she worked part-time at WVLK-AM before heading to Louisville, Kentucky to work for Cox Radio at WRVI-FM and WHTE-FM. Upon her move to Louisville, Kentucky, she changed her on-air name to Chase Daniels because of her experience with stalkers and other over-zealous listeners and fans.
After leaving Cox Radio in Louisville, Kentucky. Daniels worked for Clear Channel doing weekends and fill-in work at rock stations WTFX-FM & WQMF-FM and at Blue Chip Broadcasting (now Radio One) at Urban contemporary stations WGZB-FM (weekends/fill-in) & WMJM-FM.
In January of 1998 Daniels relocated to Columbus, Ohio to work at WCKX-FM and WXMG-FM. In August 2000 she found herself in Atlanta, Georgia working for Infinity Broadcasting at Classic Rock station WZGC-FM until February 2002. She spent one year in Macon, Georgia at Contemporary hits radio (CHR) station WMBG-FM working the midday shift before returning to Atlanta, Georgia and Cox Radio to work part-time at WALR-FM and WFOX-FM (now WSRV-FM).
In May of 2005, Daniels made the leap from terrestrial radio to satellite radio when she joined XM Satellite Radio to do afternoons on their old school R&B channel, The GROOVE, channel 64.
As of August 2006, Daniels also does middays on CHR/Rhythmic, The Heat, XM channel 68. She can also be heard on AOL.com and DirecTV.
