The former name is' "Ecclesia de Cavenone"'[1].Its the name of a former monastery which disappeared because of the French Revolution.

★ 'Church Saint-Martin'[2], which is an 11th century and 12th century building

★ 'Castel Montgeorges', which is a 16th century building

★ Russian orthodox monastery in the 'Manor of Saint ''hubert''' (19th century building) which belong to the Russian Orthodox Church.Saint-Hubert was originally intended as a simple hunting lodge[3] in the Wood of Sceauve (Bois de Sceauve), a former owner[4][5] decided to turn Saint-Hubert into a full château with grounds by the French landscape gardener 'Treyve'[6][7][8] who design the parks of Vichy and Sables-d'or-les-Pins. He drew his inspiration from the famous French gardener:Paul de Lavenne Comte Choulot[9],designer of "le Vesinet" near Paris.

★ 'Watermill of Veaux' on the Aumance River (the last one on this French river). The Aumance River is a tributary of the Cher River. This mill is on the Cassini map.

★ 'Manor of Sceauve', which is a former fief.

Famous people


A portrait of the General Louis-Auguste Camus de Richemont baron d'Empire was in the Manor of Saint Hubert. He was a relative of the former owner[10].
