CHELA

'Chela' is a term used in the Guru-shishya tradition of Hinduism, roughly equivalent to the western term ''disciple''.
'Chela' may also refer to:

★ Chela, Ethiopia, a town in southern Ethiopia;

★ Chela (fish), a small minnow-type fish in the Cyprinid family;

★ Juan Ignacio Chela, a professional tennis player from Argentina;

★ an arthropod's claw;

★ the Chela meteorite of 1988, which fell in Shinyanga, Tanzania (see meteorite falls)
