CHEMTOU
'Chemtou' or 'Chimtou' is an antique site in northwestern Tunisia. Il is located 20km from the city of Jendouba, near the Algerian border.
The ancient 'Simitthu' (Simitthus during the Roman period) is known for its important marble quarries which were exploited from the 2nd century BC.
