 | Ofcom upholds my Christian TV complaint My complaint to Ofcom about the anti-gay nature of christian TV station 'Revelation TV' is upheld thanks to evidence accidently provided by the homophobic bishop Michael Reid. In this video I talk about how Reid mistakenly believes that the National Union of Teachers are going to 'promote' homosexuality to 3 year olds (they aren't), that the school books set includes 'gay pornographic' book Strange Boy by Paul Magrs (it isn't remotely pornographic and the 'gayness' of the central character isn't even a major part of the story), and that Wellcome Trust has issued a report that only 0.3% of households are gay couples (no such report can be found and anyway 0.3% is more likely to equate to people who have 'married' - 30,000 couples tp date since civil partnerships were legalised). And how did I prove that Revelation TV was not offering balanced comment as required by the UK's broadcast law? The evidence was laid in front of me on YouTube by the bigotted homphobic bishop Michael Reid, a pompous and nasty person seeking to undermine my lifestye and relationship! |
