CHRISTOPHER SEELEY
'Christopher Seeley' is the mayor of Linesville, Pennsylvania. Born in September 1987, Seeley is among the youngest mayors of U.S. cities to serve to date. He ran against long-time Linesville Borough Council Member Kevin McGrath. A Democrat, Seeley was elected 8 November 2005. At the time, he was a senior at Linesville High School.
Two other 18-year-olds were elected to mayoral positions the same day, Michael Sessions of Hillsdale, Michigan (also born in September 1987) and Sam Juhl of Roland, Iowa (born in November 1987, making him the youngest currently-serving mayor of a U.S. city).
Seeley is now a student at Allegheny College where he is a music and political science double major. He plays the tuba. His term as mayor will end December 31, 2009.
