Since 2004 'Ciceu' (Csíkcsicsó) forms an independent commune with the village of Ciaracio (Csaracsó) with a population of 2,628. Formerly part of Siculeni (Madéfalva) commune (''check demographics there for ethnic composition''). The commune has an absolute Székely Hungarian majority.
