CITY OF KNOX

'The City of Knox' is a Local Government Area in Victoria, Australia. It is located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. It has an area of 114 square kilometres. In June 2006 it had a population of just over 150,000.
It was enlarged in 1994 by the addition of the suburb of Upper Ferntree Gully from the former Shire of Sherbrooke.

The Knox Transit Link runs in between Vermont South Shopping Centre Tram Terminus and Knox City Shopping Centre Bus Terminus. This will be used until the 75 tramline is extended from Vermont South to Knox City Shopping Centre.
The new tollway EastLink will run through Knox.
