 | Clinical Trial Terminated for CellCept Roche Laboratories has alerted healthcare professionals that a clinical trial of CellCept (mycophenolate mofetil) has been terminated. CellCept is an immuno-suppressant used to prevent organ rejection in patients receiving renal, cardiac or hepatic transplants. The trial was stopped because heart transplant patients who were switched from CellCept in combination with a calcineurin inhibitor to CellCept and sirolimus had an increased incidence of grade IIIA acute organ rejection.
