Biography

From Maine to Florida

While he was in Maine, Beaulieu was playing hockey for his high school. While attending college, Beaulieu had heard that Trivium was in search for a new Co-lead guitarist. Though doubtful he tried out anyway, much to his disbelief he had joined that band and ultimately made a name for himself.
Trivium

Alongside Matt Heafy, Beaulieu is currently the lead guitarist in Trivium, joining the band after their first album "Ember to Inferno" (2003) as a result of Matt realising they needed a second guitarist.
Trivium recently released their 3rd Album "The Crusade" on October 10, 2006 through Roadrunner Records.
Recently in an interview with music channel "Scuzz" Corey informed fans they could expect a new album by summer/winter 2008 although no particular date or target has been set as of yet[1]

Equipment

Guitars

In the past Beaulieu used mainly Jackson guitars such as the Jackson KV-2 Black Ghost Flames finish (as seen in Roadrunner United bonus DVD) and DX10D series occasionally using a B.C Rich Warlock and a Blue Ibanez guitar, until Rita Haney, wife of 20 years to Dimebag Darrell gave him and Matt Heafy each one of Dimebag's famous Razorbacks and in 2005 were endorsed by Dean Guitars, Beaulieu currently sporting the first ever made red Razorback V. This Razorback V is metallic red with the Trivium circle logo placed between the bridge and neck pickups and is also fitted with a Floyd Rose Locking Tremolo and a Seymour Duncan Dimebucker.
He has also befriended Dimebag's family since his death, and was even invited by Rita and Vinnie Paul to play with Vinnie and Rex for a few songs with the band "Gasoline". Dimebag is also one of his major influences.[2]
