CORPUS CHRISTI COLLEGE, MELBOURNE

'Corpus Christi College' is the regional seminary (and theologate) of the Roman Catholic Provinces of Victoria and Tasmania, Australia. It trains priests for the Archdioceses of Melbourne and Hobart, and the Dioceses of Ballarat, Sandhurst and Sale. The College also trains priests for other dioceses, including the Archdiocese of Hanoi and the Diocese of Vinh in Vietnam; the Archdiocese of Adelaide, South Australia; the Diocese of Bathurst, New South Wales; and the Military Ordinariate of Australia.
It is sited at St George's church, Carlton, near Melbourne’s Cathedral and in proximity to the University of Melbourne and the Australian Catholic University campuses. St George's church was built in 1855 and after a long career as a school house, now serves as the seminary chapel.
