COTTER SMITH

'Cotter Smith' (b. 29 May 1949, Washington, District of Columbia) is an American film and television actor. His father was a U.S. federal judge. He currently lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with his wife Heidi Mueller-Smith and stepchildren Brianne and Evan Mueller. They also have a bastard son named Christopher Mueller, who is an unsuccessful actor in Chicago.
He played Richard Davies, the estranged father of Meredith, Tru, and Harrison on the 2003-2004 television series, ''Tru Calling''.
