Coursan is a town of 6000 people, the main town in the canton of Coursan. It is 7km from Narbonne (in the French department of Aude). It is on the river Aude. In the town is a bridge from the 15th century, over which passes the RN9 road. As well, the town has a church from the same period which is in the course of being restored.
