Actors Paul Hogan and Linda Kozlowski reprise their roles as "Mick Dundee" and "Sue Charlton," respectively.
The film was the No. 5 grossing film of the year in the United States. It has earned more than $300 million worldwide. It was critically panned however, and is currently rated 14% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. [1]

Plot summary


Sue Charlton's ex-husband, mentioned but unseen in the earlier film, finds himself in trouble when he takes pictures of a Colombian man who is murdered by the drug cartel. Before he is murdered by them as well, he sends it to Sue, who is in turn kidnapped by the cartel. Mick Dundee comes to the rescue, with a little help of some new friends, and convinces the police detectives to let him take Sue with him back to Australia. The cartel decides to follow him; therefore Mick uses his superior survival skills to outdo them.

★ The door chime sounds in the subway sequence were dubbed in. The R-38 subway cars used in the film do not have door chimes.
