CROSSBOW (TV SERIES)
'Crossbow' was a 1987 television series about the adventures of William Tell starring Will Lyman and Jeremy Clyde. It was produced by David R. Cappes, Steven North, and Richard Schlesinger and filmed in France. In the United Kingdom, the show was also known as 'William Tell'.
Stanislas Syrewicz composed the soundtrack of the series.
The series takes place in the 14th century in Europe. William Tell and his son Matthew are imprisoned by the tyrannical Gessler. As Governor of Austria, Gessler plans to stop the Swiss uprising. But there is no stopping William Tell's legendary strength and skill.
