CYPRESS-FAIRBANKS INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT


The 'Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District' ('CFISD', often referred to as Cy-Fair) is a large school district in northwest Harris County, Texas (USA). The district covers a small portion of Houston, the city of Jersey Village, and other unincorporated areas in Harris County. The district covers 188 square miles of land.
Cypress-Fairbanks ISD is part of the taxation base for North Harris Montgomery Community College District.
As of September 15, 2006, the district had 68 campuses (forty-five elementary schools, fourteen middle schools, and nine high schools).[1]
