DALIYAT AL-KARMEL


'Daliyat al-Karmel' is a Druze town in the North District of Israel, about 20 km southeast of Haifa.
It received the status of a local council in 1951.
The area of Daliyat al-Karmel was 9,000 dunams (9 km²), and its population in September 2003 was 13,500.
In 2003, Daliyat al-Karmel was merged with nearby Isfiya to create Carmel City.
