DALTON UNITED F.C.

'Dalton United F.C.' are a local amateur football club based in Dalton-in-Furness in Cumbria.
They are full members of the Lancashire Football Association, and have teams playing in the West Lancashire League and the Furness Premier League. The club's first team play in the West Lancashire League Premier Division, which is at the 11th level of the English football league system.

Dalton United became members of the West Lancashire League in the early 1970's, and since the 1976-77 season have been playing in the league's top division. Of the current Premier Division clubs, only Burnley United have a longer spell playing at this level.They play their home games at Railway Meadow, Dalton-in-Furness, which is very close to Dalton railway station. The club's colours are red and black striped shirts, black shorts and black socks. They normally produce a programme for supporters in attendance at their home games and have recently designed a club website containing all the information you might need relating to the club with fixtures, results, league tables, match photos, club information, player/member/management profiles and most importantly links to all our sponsors that help us keep the club up and running season by season.To access the website go to www.daltonunited.com
