'David Daniel Masters' born 22 April 1978, Chatham, Kent, England is an English cricket player who has played for the cricket teams of Kent and Leicestershire.
David is a very accurate seam bowler who bowls in the mid to late 70s. He had a somewhat inconsistent time with Kent but has had more success with Leicestershire who he joined in 2004.
In 2005 Masters was named as Leicestershire's player of the year after picking up 45 wickets in all competitions, while the 2007 season looks set to be a more successful one. Masters has won the Twenty20 cup twice and has a first class century to his name.
On 20th August 2007 it was announced that Masters would join Essex on a three year contract
