DAVID MITTON

'David Mitton' (born London England UK 13 July 1941) was a producer and a director as well as an experienced model maker. He was well known for directing and producing the children's television shows ''TUGS'' and ''Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends''. He also worked with Gerry and Sylvia Anderson on puppets in Thunderbirds (TV series). He first had his own company Clearwater Features (1986) Ltd with Robert D. Cardona and later became part of The Britt Allcroft Company in 1991, Sunbow Productions in 1998 and HIT Entertainment in 2002. He retired after the last episode of the Seventh Season of Thomas the Tank Engine.
