Established in 1892, 'Davis LLP' (formerly Davis & Company LLP) is a full-service Canadian law firm with over 200 lawyers. The founding office is in Vancouver, with other offices located in Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto, Montreal, Whitehorse, Yellowknife and Tokyo.

Firm Profile
Davis provides both corporate / commercial law and litigation services. Specialized practice areas include aboriginal, competition, professional governance, international corporate governance, renewable energy & sustainable development, and video games & interactive entertainment. The firm's infrastructure and project finance team structures and arranges financing and advises on Canadian and European public-private partnerships.
On May 4, 2007, the firm announced that it had changed its name from Davis & Company LLP to Davis LLP.[1]
Representative Cases
Davis championed the rights of Japanese-Canadians after World War II, and its relationship with Japanese companies and investors, and those wishing to do business in Japan, is a firm differentiator.
