DEBBIE GOAD

'Debra Susan Rosalie "Debbie" Goad' (born February, 13 1954 in Brooklyn, New York) was the co-editor, with (her husband) Jim Goad, of the misanthropic magazine ''ANSWER Me!''. Jim and Debbie divorced around the same time she was diagnosed with cancer.
She also contributed to the zine ''Temp Slave!''
She died in July 2000, aged 46, from ovarian cancer in Multnomah, Oregon. Her Mother also died of ovarian cancer. Debbie wished to be cremated, which is against Jewish tradition. However, her brother Mitchell, a doctor in New York, did not find her will at the time of her death and laid her to rest next to their mother in New York. Debbie was a very passionate woman and loved animals more than anything. At the time of her death she had two dogs and three cats.
