'Dipeptidases' are enzymes secreted by the intestinal glands into the small intestine. Dipeptidases hydrolyze pairs of amino acids.
Dipeptidases are enzymes secreted by enterocytes of the small intestine onto the brush border. They cleave dipeptides into 2 amino acids prior to absorption.
They are exopeptidases.
They are classified under EC number 3.4.13.
