DEIONEUS

(Redirected from Deion)
In Greek mythology, 'Deioneus' is one of three different people.
#Son of Aeolus, King of Phocis, and father of Cephalus.
#Father-in-law of Ixion to-be, Deioneus was pushed into a bed of flaming coals so that Ixion wouldn't have to pay the bride-price.
#Son of Eurytus the Oechalian.
#Also called Eioneus, and the presumed mythological eponym of the Thracian city of Eion. This character was the father of Rhesus, according to Homer.
