Delano was first built in 1947. The original architect was Robert Swartburg. Delano’s tower is four-winged and is one of the tallest buildings in the area. It was re-opened by Ian Schrager in June 1995 with design by the famed designer Philippe Starck. Delano is now a part of the Morgans Hotel Group collection.
A sister hotel, also called Delano, is currently under construction on the Las Vegas Strip as part of the Echelon Place development.
