DELAWARE ROUTE 100
'Delaware Route 100' is a state highway in New Castle County, Delaware. The route runs from Delaware Route 4 near Elsmere to the Pennsylvania border near Montchanin. The route runs north through the community of Elsmere and skirts the western edge of Wilmington. Delaware Route 100 turns westward on Delaware Route 48 and then north on Delaware Route 141. It follows Route 141 on a limited access highway through Greenville. At the end of the limited access highway, Delaware Route 100 splits from Delaware Route 141 and heads north to Montchanin and the Pennsylvania border. At the Pennsylvania border, Delaware Route 100 used to connect to Pennsylvania Route 100, however Pennsylvania Route 100 was truncated from the Delaware border to U.S. Route 202 north of West Chester, Pennsylvania in 2003.
