DIRTY PROJECTORS

Dirty Projectors is the artist name of musician Dave Longstreth, a former Yale University student who left college in the early 2000s to start recording music[1]. His first album, ''The Graceful Fallen Mango'' was released under his own name and introduced his distinctive arrangements of both lo-fi and hi-fi production[1]. Longstreth released his first album as "Dirty Projectors" in 2003 entitled The Glad Fact under Western Vinyl. In 2005, he released The Getty Address, which is a concept album surrounding musician Don Henley, and in 2007, he released Rise Above, which is an album of Black Flag songs as re-imagined from memory.
